3D Printed Mystery Box Toys

Our mystery box toys are themed surprise boxes, each holding one articulated, 3D printed creature from that theme's series. You choose the world, we choose the creature, so the theme is your call while which one you get stays hidden until the lid comes off. It wiggles and flexes straight away, with nothing to build or glue together.

They work as a gift, a party bag filler, a pocket money treat, or a stocking filler, and you can browse our full range of 3D printed fidget toys first if you would rather see everything.

Creepy Crawly Mystery Box

Articulated Creatures Inside Every Box

The creature in every box is print-in-place. That means it comes off the printer already jointed, with the moving segments formed during printing rather than assembled afterwards. There is no glue, no bag of parts, and no instruction sheet. You open the box, lift it out, and it moves.

Articulation is the bit children notice first. Run a finger along a tail, and it ripples. Each segment has a little give, which is what makes them satisfying to fiddle with while you are reading, queuing, or watching telly.

We design and print every creature ourselves, in-house in the UK, on Bambu Lab printers. Nothing in a box is bought in wholesale and repackaged, which is why we can tell you exactly how they are made and what they are made from.

House Pets Mystery Box

Pick Your Theme, Keep the Surprise

You choose the world, we choose the creature. Pick a theme you know the recipient will love, and we pick one creature from it, so which one lands in the box is still a surprise when it is opened.

The themed boxes cover Dino and Skeleton Dinosaurs for anyone drawn to our 3D printed dinosaur toys, Jungle Animal and Safari for fans of our 3D jungle animals, and Sea Life for shoppers who come to us for 3D printed ocean creature fidgets. There are also Creepy Crawly, House Pets, Farm Animals, Reptile, Sky and Air, and Aliens boxes, so most obsessions are covered one way or another.

Each theme runs as its own numbered series, with one exclusive design hidden among them. Most are sets of twelve to collect. Creepy Crawly is a set of seven, and Aliens, Safari and Skeleton Dinosaurs are sets of six. The box shows the full line-up before you buy, so you always know which ones are still missing from the shelf.

Printed in the UK from Plant-Based Materials

Every creature is printed in plant-based PLA derived from corn starch and sugarcane. The material is non-toxic and gives the creatures a slightly matte, warm feel rather than the slick finish of injection-moulded plastic.

We are a family-run maker, and everything is designed and printed by us in-house, packaging included. Our children run printing operations and printer maintenance, and new concepts get discussed at the kitchen table. You can see where that leads in ranges like our mythical creature fidgets. That approach won us Pitch Live KIDS in the Toy, Play and Clothing category at Autumn Fair, NEC Birmingham, in September 2026.

Who Our Mystery Boxes Are For

Gift buyers get the most obvious use. A mystery box covers a birthday present, a party bag filler, a pocket money treat, or a stocking filler without you having to guess which specific creature a child already owns.

Collectors use them to build out a world. Once someone has a few reptiles, they tend to want the rest, and a themed box is an easy way to expand a collection of 3D printed reptiles and amphibians, or of 3D printed sky and air creatures.

Mystery boxes are not new to us, only new to the website. We introduced them at a Christmas show and have been selling them at markets, agricultural shows and festivals ever since. What changed was the question people asked. Instead of asking about one creature, they started asking what they would get next. We call it collect, repeat and play.

For sensory seekers, the appeal is the handling. The unboxing moment provides an immediate tactile reward, and the articulated segments give fingers something to work through, supporting calm focus, fine motor movement, and sensory play. Many families and educators use them alongside other sensory toys for stimming.

On safety, our boxes are suitable for ages 3 and over; some items contain small parts, and adult supervision is advised.

If the surprise is the best part, pick a themed box above. If you'd prefer to hand-pick every design, head to Create Your Bundle and choose them yourself. Not sure which world suits the child you are buying for? Get in touch, and we will help you settle on the right mystery box toys for them.

Mystery Box Toys FAQs

What is in a Jiggly Bitz mystery box toy? +

A Jiggly Bitz mystery box toy contains one articulated, print-in-place 3D printed creature, chosen by us from the theme you pick. Each theme is a series of six, seven or twelve designs, so the box is one of a set. Which creature is inside stays a surprise until it is opened, and it arrives ready to wiggle.

Can I pick exactly which creature goes in my box? +

No. With a mystery box, you choose the theme, and we choose the creature from within it, which is what keeps the surprise intact. Anyone who wants to hand-pick every design can use Create Your Bundle instead, where you pick a pack size and then choose each creature yourself.

Are mystery box toys suitable for children? +

Our mystery boxes are suitable for ages 3 and over; some items contain small parts, and adult supervision is advised. Nothing needs to be assembled because the creature comes out of the box already articulated, with no glue or tools required.

What are the toys made from? +

Every Jiggly Bitz creature is 3D printed in plant-based PLA derived from corn starch and sugarcane, and the material is non-toxic. We print everything in-house in the UK, including our packaging, and the same material goes into every range, from our 3D printed bugs and insects to our 3D printed house pets.
